Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to independently service and display products across several retail locations in Cottage Grove, Creswell, and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes organization, time management, and effective communication with store teams.

No prior experience is required as training is provided. Starting pay is $15.80 per hour with increases after 6 months and after 1 year, plus flexible scheduling and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English is required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation as most routes have multiple retail locations.
• Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates.
• Technological competency—able to learn and use company-provided tablet for training and daily tasks.
• Meet scheduling needs including occasional weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display product within greeting card departments and other locations.
• Maintain organized backroom areas and other inventory tasks as needed.
• Communicate with management any questions or concerns regarding service or schedules.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as requested.
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload in assigned stores using a company tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
