Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service several Kansas retail locations, including Hiawatha and surrounding towns. You’ll display and maintain greeting cards, gift wrap, and related products while managing store backrooms with organization and time efficiency.

No experience is required; training is provided. The role offers daytime hours, flexible scheduling, paid training, and a company 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• English literacy required.
• Ability to manage time and organize tasks across multiple stores.
• Customer service oriented with stores and managers.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display product in greeting card departments and maintain backroom areas.
• Communicate with management about schedules and questions.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management and organization.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours near holidays.
• Assist with store resets including fixture work and product assembly as needed.
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
