Job summary

Standard Beverage in Pratt, KS is seeking a Merchandiser to stock shelves and cold boxes, build displays, and maintain brand standards across routes.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work 21+; knowledge of alcohol industry is helpful. Comprehensive benefits offered including medical, dental, vision, 401k, etc.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to sell alcohol in Kansas and meet state licensing requirements.
• High integrity, strong work ethic, and reliable attendance.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lb regularly and up to 175 lb for keg handling.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; auto insurance as required.
• Knowledge of the alcoholic beverage industry is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves, coolers, and back stock; rotate products per quality and rotation policies.
• Build displays and place signage and merchandising items.
• Keep backroom and inventory tidy; report any product breakage to management.
• Maintain professional rapport with store personnel and customers.
• Follow current route and complete all scheduled calls.

Job description

Overview

A Merchandiser is responsible for stocking the store shelves and cold boxes/coolers with fresh products. Starting salary $17/hr.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fresh products by stocking and rotating, organizing, and refilling back stocks, cold boxes/coolers, shelves, and displays adhering to all quality and rotation policies.
• Build displays and executes placement of signage and other merchandising items.
• Keeps backroom and inventory areas clean and organized. Notifies manager of any product breakage in an account.
• Maintain a professional rapport and image with store personnel and customers.
• Adhere to current route and make all scheduled calls.

Qualifications

• High level of integrity, commitment, and possess a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of the alcoholic beverage industry is helpful.
• Physical exertion will be necessary to achieve desired levels of account management. The employee must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 175 lbs. when handling kegs.
• Valid Driver's License and maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver license and maintain auto insurance coverage at least to the minimum amount specified by the Company and state law.
• Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of employment in order to sell alcohol in the state of Kansas.
