Job summary

Standard Beverage is hiring a Merchandiser in Wichita, KS to stock shelves, coolers, and displays with fresh products. The role requires rotating stock and maintaining clean backrooms while building appealing in-store setups.

You will work with store staff, comply with alcohol-age rules, and follow scheduled routes. A starting wage of $17/hour is offered, plus a $500 sign-on bonus after six months of continuous employment, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old to sell alcohol in Kansas.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 175 lbs with keg handling.
• Knowledge of wine/beer/alcohol industry is helpful.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves, cold boxes, and displays with fresh products and rotate stock.
• Build displays and place signage and merchandising materials.
• Keep backroom and inventory areas clean and organized; report breaks.
• Maintain professional rapport with store staff and customers.
• Follow route and complete all scheduled calls on time.

Overview

A Merchandiser is responsible for stocking the store shelves and cold boxes/coolers with fresh products.

Starting salary $17/hr. Plus asign-on bonus of $500 after 6 months of continuous employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fresh products by stocking and rotating, organizing, and refilling back stocks, cold boxes/coolers, shelves, and displays adhering to all quality and rotation policies.
• Build displays and executes placement of signage and other merchandising items.
• Keeps backroom and inventory areas clean and organized. Notifies manager of any product breakage in an account.
• Maintain a professional rapport and image with store personnel and customers.
• Adhere to current route and make all scheduled calls.

Qualifications

• High level of integrity, commitment, and possess a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of the alcoholic beverage industry is helpful.
• Physical exertion will be necessary to achieve desired levels of account management. The employee must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 175 lbs. when handling kegs.
• Licenses, Age restrictions:
• Valid Driver's License and maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver license and maintain auto insurance coverage at least to the minimum amount specified by the Company and state law.
• Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of employment in order to sell alcohol in the state of Kansas.
