Job summary

Highline Warren is seeking a warehouse associate to support distribution operations in a fast-paced environment. You will move materials, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and perform inspections to ensure product quality and accurate paperwork.

The role requires basic computer skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety PPE. The position emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and reliable attendance in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of distribution experience or a satisfactory combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above duties.
• Must be able to obtain forklift license through Highline Warren Distribution.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a computer— basic PC proficiency; Word, Excel, and reporting software.
• Accurately multiply, divide, add, and subtract whole numbers to resolve practical problems.
• Wear/use required PPE (personal protective equipment).
• Learn and effectively operate equipment and work processes in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Conduct required quality checks and tests; visually inspect equipment and make adjustments as needed.
• Demonstrate good mechanical and operational understanding of the equipment.

To Perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function.

Safely operate Powered Industrial Trucks by securing material prior to handling or storing and by operating at reasonable speeds and control. Levels- Electric pallet jack, Forklift, Reach lift.

Safely pull, process, and perform inspections of materials, supplies, tools, fixtures, and parts.

Responsible for shipping, pulling orders, and completing required paperwork.

Move materials within the warehouse and assist in other warehouse activities as directed by Supervisor or Manager.

Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from staging and processing areas.

Monitor machinery and equipment operation to ensure all product meets performance specifications and requirements. Promptly notify the supervisor of any quality issues.

Maintain good housekeeping and regularly clean work area, machines, and equipment.

Identify and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs or increase productivity without reducing effectiveness.

Maintain an open and candid working relationship with the immediate supervisor/manager in discussing matters of importance.

Adhere to all safety guidelines, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) preventing incidents or injury to self or others.

Adhere to established company values, practices, policies, and procedures at all times. Follow and support compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations, and standards.

Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS
