Company Overview
Deeply Well, LLC is looking for a part-time Mental Health Therapist/Administrative Assistant to join our team! We are a growing mental health practice offering outpatient counseling services to teens, adults, couples, and families in the Charleston, SC area. This position would be best filled by a clinician who is a mother/family oriented and would like to work part-time. Deeply Well has a non-compete and therefore this position cannot be considered for any clinician who has other work obligations.

Responsibilities (Administrative):
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence promptly and professionally.
- Maintain and organize client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in maintaining office supplies and equipment inventory, ordering supplies as needed.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports, documents, and presentations as needed.
Intake Coordination:
- Conduct initial intake calls with clients, collecting necessary information for matching clients with appropriate therapists.
- Coordinate client scheduling and appointments, ensuring efficient use of clinicians' time.
- Communicate with clients to provide necessary information regarding appointments, intake procedures, and required documentation.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely intake processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date intake and scheduling records.
Client Support:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns with compassion, consistency, and promptness.
- Assist clients in completing intake forms and paperwork, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and clinical staff, conveying relevant information and ensuring smooth communication channels.
Confidentiality and Privacy:
- The contractor shall always adhere to strict confidentiality and privacy standards. All client information, including personal and medical details, must be treated with the utmost confidentiality, and stored securely as per HIPAA regulations.
- The contractor will not disclose any client information without the client's written consent, except as required by law.
Responsibilities (Clinical):
- Conduct comprehensive and holistic assessments gathering biological, psychological, social, and spiritual health history.
- Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
- Collaborate with clients to set treatment goals, track progress, and adjust interventions as needed.
- Provide therapy to clients addressing a wide range of mental health concerns.
- Facilitate a safe and supportive therapeutic environment that honors clients' beliefs and values.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Maintain ethical standards and good standing with respective licensing boards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge of counseling practices.
Qualifications (Clinical/Administrative):
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Current licensure as a therapist (e.g., LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, LMFT/A, LICSW/LMSW) in South Carolina.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport and build therapeutic alliances with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professional boundaries and handle sensitive client information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to collaborating with community leaders and organizations to develop services tailored to the Charleston area.
- Experience or passion to work with these high need areas:
- Couples Counseling
- Men’s Issues
- Postgraduate training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), or willingness to undergo training.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred (Simple Practice).
- Alignment with the Christian values and mission of our mental health center.
Terms of Employment:
This position is a 1099 contractor role, which means you will be responsible for your own taxes and benefits.
