COMHAR INC in the Philadelphia area is seeking a compassionate Mental Health Technician for part-time shifts. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor client well-being, and support treatment goals under licensed supervision.

The role emphasizes recovery-oriented care, trauma-informed practices, and direct client support. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; a valid driver’s license is required for some responsibilities.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree or 12 college credits in behavioral health/human services preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience with mental health or substance use challenges preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients with daily living activities including hygiene, meals, and medication reminders.
• Observe and document client behavior, changes, incidents, and progress.
• Support implementation of individualized treatment plans and therapeutic activities.
• Facilitate group and recreational activities to promote socialization and skill development.
• Assist clinical staff with assessments, interventions, and care coordination.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment and adhere to confidentiality standards.
• Respond to crises calmly following agency protocols.
• Transport clients as needed when qualified.
