Fairmount Behavioral Health Hospital in Philadelphia, PA is hiring Mental Health Technicians for a part-time 24-hour-per-week role (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm). The MHT provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, helping create a safe, therapeutic milieu and assisting with daily living activities.

The hospital serves children to senior adults with behavioral health and addiction illnesses, offering inpatient and outpatient programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field (psychology, sociology, counseling, etc.).
• HS diploma or GED with at least 2 years of paid/unpaid human service experience involving direct contact.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu for patients.
• Assist with crisis interventions and activities of daily living.
