Position Overview

Penn State Brandywine has an immediate opening for a part‑time Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach. The institution is a provisional NCAA member competing in the United East Conference starting September 2024. This position reports to the Director of Athletics.

Job Duties

• Assist the Head Coach with organizing all aspects of the soccer program, including practice and game preparation, and recruitment of qualified student‑athletes.
• Motivate student‑athletes and encourage high academic standards, leadership skills, and compliance with NCAA and United East Conference regulations.
• Complete game‑day duties as assigned.
• Complete administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years coaching experience at the collegiate or high‑school level and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.

Background Checks and Clearances

This position requires a PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check, a valid driver’s license, and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check.
