Job summary

Silverado Lee's Summit is seeking compassionate Caregivers to support residents with memory impairments, including Alzheimer’s and dementia, in a respectful environment. The role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and building relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.

Anticipated schedule is part-time, AM shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, with pay between $18 and $21 per hour. Eligible staff receive paid training and a range of benefits, including health coverage and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
