Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Memory Care Activity Assistant in Massachusetts to design and implement engaging programs addressing residents’ psychological, social, physical, and spiritual needs. You will support the Activity Director and help promote self-esteem in a nurturing environment.

The role emphasizes leading activities, fostering participation, and communicating resident changes to leadership, with a focus on elder care and dementia-aware programming.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and leading activity programs for elders and disabled individuals.
• Knowledge of aging, dementia care, and person-centered activity planning.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead one-on-one, small group, and large group activities per schedule.
• Develop and implement seven-day activity programming.
• Stays with groups during outings and communicates changes to leadership.
• Encourage resident participation and tailor activities to abilities.
