Job summary

Sound Credit Union in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Part-Time Teller / Member Service Representative for our Pac Ave Branch. You will assist members with financial transactions, respond to inquiries, and provide information on balances and loans to deliver exceptional service.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of customer service experience; cash handling and retail sales are a plus. Bondable status required and some certifications may be needed for advancement.

Qualifications

• One-year experience in a customer service position required.
• Cash handling and retail sales experience is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be bondable.
• Notary and NMLS certifications are necessary for UA II level and higher and require US citizenship or permanent legal residency in order to be obtained as per WA State Law.

Responsibilities

• As the first point of contact, you will assist our members with financial transactions, respond to inquiries, build relationships, and provide information on account status, balances, and loan details to deliver exceptional member service.
• Teller duties include cash handling and promoting bank services to members.
