Position Summary

As a Member Service Representative, you will serve as a key point of contact for our members, processing daily financial transactions, assisting with account requests, and identifying products and services that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, professional, and courteous service while building positive relationships with members.
• Listen to members, identify their needs, and recommend appropriate products and services to support their financial goals.
• Process routine transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
• Balance and maintain a cash drawer while following established procedures and security guidelines.
• Assist members with account maintenance and requests, including name and address changes.
• Support established sales and service goals by recognizing opportunities to educate members about Credit Union products and services.
• Represent First Capital’s mission and You First Core Values through every member interaction.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in a financial institution, retail cash-handling environment, or customer service role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing positive, personalized service.
• Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to handle cash accurately, follow procedures, and maintain attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn about Credit Union products and services and help members find solutions that meet their needs.
