Silverado Alexandria, a memory care innovator and Fortune Best Workplace, is hiring a Medication Technician to ensure safe and timely medication administration for residents in memory care.

Responsibilities include assisting with meds, inventory, cart maintenance, and clear communication with residents, families, and the clinical team. Part-time shifts (Fri–Mon) with a pay range of $23–$27 USD/hour and benefits such as 401(k) matching and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Medication Aide Certificate is required by the state.
• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• At least one year of experience as a Medication Technician.
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
• Experience in memory care or with Alzheimer’s/dementia preferred.
• Reliable transportation for attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk during shifts.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist residents with routine administration of medications
• Order, receive, and take inventory of medications
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medication cart
• Communicate clearly with residents, families, and the clinical team

Qualifications:

• Medication Aide Certificate required for the state
• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school
• At least one year of experience as a Medication Technician
• Valid CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
• Personal or professional experience in memory care or with individuals living with Alzheimer’s or dementia preferred
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Comfortable working around animals and pets

Anticipated pay range

$23 - $27 USD
