Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a state-licensed Medication Aide certification.
• High school education or equivalent required.
• Experience with medication administration and resident care.
• Ability to document accurately and promptly in medical records.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed by the attending physician.
• Document all administered medications and any observations.
• Assist in developing procedures to reduce medication errors.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and nursing standards.
• Coordinate with nurses, physicians, and pharmacists to ensure resident safety.
