TruCare Community, Inc. in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Part-Time Medication Technician for Bay Breeze Care, ARF to assist with resident care and administer medications under Title 22 regulations. A high school diploma or GED and background clearance are required, with a weekend schedule (Saturday-Monday 6:30am-3:30pm).

Qualifikationen

• DOJ FBI live scan background clearance required
• Pre-employment physical and TB test clearance required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in caregiving and medical administration preferred
• Full-Time and Part-Time positions available in various shifts

Aufgaben

• Assist with the basic needs of an ARF (Adult Residential Facility).
• Provide ethical and respectful care to residents.
• Administer medication to residents in accordance to Title 22 regulations of the California Administrative Code.
• Order and reorder medication for residents, following explicit physician instructions.
• Monitor resident's medication administration records and report any errors to the Lead Medication Technician and/or Administrator.
• Progressive documentation and communication with physician and/or medical professional.
• Scheduling of resident doctor's appointments.
• Ensure residents stay stress-free by coordinating with medical professionals to reduce pain and promote engagement and independence.
• Maintain composure during emergencies and ensure a safe work environment.
