Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or its equivalent.
• Must be a licensed Medication Aide having completed a state approved training program and examination.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and safely prepare, administer, and document the oral and/or topical medications.
• Follow facility policies and procedures for drug receipt, labeling, and charting.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and report medication errors or adverse reactions.
