Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe physician dictation, ensuring completion within two days.
• Review transcribed documents for correct medical terminology, grammar, spelling, and accuracy.
• Upload voice recordings and process dictation through the transcription system.
• Collect, reconcile, and distribute testing paperwork against the appointment schedule.
• Prepare and forward documentation to Medical Records for scanning and filing.
• Route medical records requests and disability paperwork to the appropriate department.
• Use electronic medical records and appointment scheduling systems.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with physicians, staff, patients, and families.
• Monitor supplies and assist with related duties as needed.
