United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is hiring a Part Time Medical Technologist at USPI Arizona Specialty Hospital to support point-of-care testing across departments.

The role requires technical proficiency, adherence to federal/state regulations, and the ability to perform lab tests, quality checks, and equipment maintenance while assisting patient care as needed. Flexible scheduling and benefits apply.

Competenze

• Bachelor degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a Biological Science, Associate degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification by accrediting agencies preferred but not required: MLT (ASCP) or categorical, MLT (AMT), MT (AMT), MLS (ASCP) preferred. If new graduate, certification within 1 year of hire/date and/or CLIA 42 CFR 493.1489.
• Knowledge of governmental and regulating policies/standards.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to detect color and color changes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills (in English).

• Adheres to policies/procedures meeting federal and state regulations and accreditation standards.
• Performs lab tests and procedures, runs control checks, proficiency testing, and maintenance on equipment.
