Job summary

Axia Women’s Health is seeking a part-time Medical Technologist for our Oaks, PA lab. The role is 16 hours per week and includes every Saturday, performing hematologic, immunologic, and chemical analyses in a quality-driven environment.

Responsibilities include instrument calibration, QC documentation, reagent preparation, data reporting, and collaborative problem solving with the team. ASCP certification and an Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology are required, with at least 1

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent.
• ASCP certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs hematologic, immunologic and chemical analyses as assigned per quality standards.
• Calibrates, operates, and maintains laboratory instrumentation.
• Documents Quality Control, Quality Improvement, and maintenance activities.
• Prepares solutions and reagents.
• Identifies and resolves problems; documents corrective actions.
• Evaluates data accuracy and validity per methods and physiology.
• Maintains data in the LIS and reporting systems; supports cost control.
