Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Spring, TX seeks an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist (MLT/MT) for part-time weekend shifts. You will perform a range of laboratory tests, ensure quality control, and support daily lab operations in Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology and Microbiology.

The role requires at least 3 years of full-time laboratory experience, a Bachelor’s degree in biological science or an AS/BS degree in medical technology, and certification eligibility/active

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of full-time laboratory experience.
• ASCP/AMT certification eligibility or active MLS/ASCP credentials.
• Bachelor’s in biological sciences or equivalent clinical lab degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents test results and quality control procedures.
• Maintains daily lab operations including sample processing and reporting.
• Interacts with staff and clinicians to ensure accurate results and patient care.
• Complies with regulatory standards and department policies.
