First Advantage is seeking a Medical Review Officer (MRO) to act as a gatekeeper for the accuracy and integrity of drug-testing reviews. The MRO communicates with donors and laboratories to verify valid explanations for non-negative results and provides QA oversight of the testing process.

The candidate should hold an MD/DO, current US or Canada medical license, and an active AAMRO certification, with 1–3 years of related experience. DOT guidelines and procedures will be routinely applied.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with current medical license in the US or Canada.
• Current Medical Review Officer (AAMRO) certification.
• 1–3 years of medical training and/or practice interpreting/drug test results; preference for MRO experience.

Responsabilités

• Act as gatekeeper for accuracy and integrity of drug testing review process.
• Communicate with donors and laboratories to determine legitimate explanations for positive/adulterated/invalid results.
• Provide quality assurance review of the testing process.
• Review DOT and non-DOT results per applicable statutes and SOPs.
• Sign off on administrative documents requiring MRO review.
• Collaborate with Chief MRO and support personnel to safeguard the review process.
