Job summary

Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, LLP in Aiea, HI is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Laboratory Technician on a part-time basis. You will perform routine and complex tests on body fluids and tissues, and report results to the healthcare team to aid diagnosis and treatment decisions.

Candidates must hold MLS/MLT credentials with ASCP or AMT certification, Hawaii licensure or in progress, and possess strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or an Associate's degree as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Active national certification from ASCP as MLS or MT/CLS, or AMT as MLT.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment (analytical instruments, centrifuges, microscopes, pipettes).
• Valid Hawaii MLS or MLT license or in process of obtaining license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex analytical tests on human body fluids and tissues to provide accurate data for diagnosis and monitoring.
• Analyze, review, and report testing results.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement solutions.
• Work in a fast-paced laboratory with biological and chemical hazards.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
