• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical front desk or similar clinical setting preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-up skills.
• Comfort using computers, phones, scheduling systems, EMR, email, and basic spreadsheets.
• Ability to discuss payments, scheduling expectations, and basic insurance information professionally.
• Calm, patient-centered approach with attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Manage front desk operations including check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and calls.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on referrals by gathering information and updating patient records.
• Keep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments and managing waitlists.
• Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments accurately and reconcile when needed.
• Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all interactions and documentation.
