Job summary

VersAbility Resources is seeking a dependable Custodian to maintain clean, safe facilities at our Yorktown Medical location. No prior custodial experience required; you’ll learn established procedures and perform physical cleaning tasks with a team-focused attitude.

The role is part-time, 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 2pm to 5pm. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in diverse environments while supporting government contract operations.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, common areas, hallways and workspaces.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop and replace supplies as needed.
• Perform floor-care tasks including stripping, waxing, sweeping, and mopping.
• Safely operate vacuums, floor-care machines, custodial equipment, and chemicals.
• Follow SDS, product labels, chemical-handling instructions, and safety procedures.
• Report equipment issues and supply needs promptly.
• Complete required checklists and documentation for custodial duties.
• Provide courteous, professional service to coworkers, customers, and government personnel.
• Participate in safety and equipment training as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
