VersAbility Resources seeks a dependable Custodian for our JRRF Government Contract site in Hampton, VA. This part-time evening role focuses on maintaining clean, safe facilities and requires willingness to learn established cleaning procedures and basic safety rules.

No prior custodial experience is required, but candidates should be dependable, able to handle physical work, and work well in a team while following schedules and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• REAL ID or U.S. Passport for base access.
• Ability to learn and follow custodial and safety procedures.
• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, schedules, and customer requirements.
• Dependable attendance and ability to complete tasks on time.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adapt to changing schedules and priorities.

Responsabilités

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, common areas, hallways, workspaces, and other areas.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, remove trash, replenish restroom supplies, and complete routine tasks.
• Perform floor-care duties including stripping, waxing, sweeping, and mopping.
• Safely use vacuums, floor-care machines, and cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Follow SDS, labels, and safety procedures.
• Maintain equipment and report problems or needs.
• Complete tasks per schedules, requirements, and quality standards.
• Complete required checklists and documentation.
• Identify spills and unsafe conditions, and report issues.
• Provide courteous service to coworkers, customers, and government personnel.
• Participate in safety and equipment training and other job-related training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
