Volvere Vie Wellness Spa in Reston, VA seeks an experienced MD/DO to serve as Medical Director for a compliant IV hydration and wellness program. This is a true leadership role with clinical oversight, not merely a signature.

You will establish policies, supervise nurses, ensure licensing and safety standards, participate on-site as needed, and guide the clinical team toward high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• MD or DO licensed to practice in Virginia.
• Active license in Virginia and board-eligible in relevant field preferred.
• Experience in emergency medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, urgent care, or related field.
• Familiarity with IV therapy, medication administration, telehealth, clinical delegation, and emergency-response procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the company’s IV hydration and injectable services.
• Evaluate patients and establish a valid practitioner-patient relationship, either in person or through compliant real-time telehealth.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and issue patient-specific orders for IV fluids, vitamins, medications, and injections.
• Supervise and delegate clinical responsibilities to Virginia-licensed nurses and other qualified personnel.
• Verify licenses, education, competency, and training of the clinical team.
• Oversee informed-consent, documentation, adverse-event reporting, referral, and follow-up procedures.
