Job summary

Vantage Health Partners in Toledo, OH seeks a part-time Medical Director to provide physician leadership and clinical oversight for a long‑term care facility. An immediate start is preferred, with duties including policy development, clinical governance, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will hold an MD or DO with an active Ohio license, board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Geriatrics, and prior long‑term care/post‑acute

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Ohio medical license.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Geriatrics preferred.
• Long-term care / post-acute experience preferred.
• Available to start immediately on a part-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the facility's attending physician leader and oversee resident medical care
• Develop, review and approve clinical policies, procedures and care protocols
• Take part in QAPI, infection control and pharmacy/therapeutics committees
• Work with the Administrator, Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team on resident outcomes
• Support regulatory compliance and survey readiness under CMS and Ohio requirements
• Act as a clinical resource for attending physicians, nurse practitioners and nursing staff
