Job summary

Vantage Health Partners in Warren, Ohio is seeking a part-time Medical Director to provide physician leadership and clinical oversight for a long-term care facility. The schedule is 1-2 days per week on site.

The successful candidate will lead resident care, shape clinical policies, and work with an interdisciplinary team to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality outcomes for residents. Active Ohio MD/DO license required with long-term care experience; board certification in Internal

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Ohio medical license.
• Long-term care experience required.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Geriatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the facility's attending physician leader and oversee resident medical care.
• Develop, review and approve clinical policies, procedures and care protocols.
• Take part in QAPI, infection control and pharmacy/therapeutics committees
• Work with the Administrator, Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team on resident outcomes
• Support regulatory compliance and CMS and Ohio requirements
• Act as a clinical resource for attending physicians, nurse practitioners and nursing staff

Responsibilities

• Serve as the facility's attending physician leader and oversee resident medical care
• Develop, review and approve clinical policies, procedures and care protocols
• Take part in QAPI, infection control and pharmacy/therapeutics committees
• Work with the Administrator, Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team on resident outcomes
• Support regulatory compliance and survey readiness under CMS and Ohio requirements
• Act as a clinical resource for attending physicians, nurse practitioners and nursing staff

Requirements
