Job summary

Allied Universal in Escondido, CA is seeking a part-time Security Guard for a medical center. You will patrol facilities, assist patients and staff, and maintain a safe environment, following site protocols and emergency procedures.

This role requires strong customer service, reliable communication, and the ability to lift 20+ pounds. You will document incidents, monitor accesses, and respond calmly to incidents, contributing to a caring, secure healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift 20+ pounds is required/preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and verifying authorized access.
• Document observations and incidents accurately, communicating to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
