Massasoit Community College is accepting applications for an Adjunct Faculty - Pool to provide classroom and laboratory instruction for Medical Assistant students. Courses may include day, night, or weekend sessions across Massasoit sites, including Canton, Brockton and beyond.

Qualifications

Associate degree or higher in natural sciences, medical/health science or related field is required.
Certified medical assistant credential is required.
Experience teaching clinical/laboratory courses in higher education or secondary education is required.

Responsibilities

Encourage and maintain participation of all students.
Provide classroom, laboratory and clinical instruction according to the curriculum.
Follow course outlines and evaluate students as directed by the Program Director.
Monitor attendance and retention; document as required by college policies.
Grade assignments and labs; provide feedback.
Administer and correct tests.
Maintain accountability of students and property.
Adhere to safety practices.
Foster a harassment-free learning environment.
Ensure safe work and learning spaces.
