Job summary

Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians,Inc is seeking a Medical Assistant- Fairway Family Physicians for a part-time, on-site role in Columbus, OH. The position provides administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient delivery of primary health care and a positive patient experience.

Typical schedule is Monday, Thursday, Friday from 7:45am to 4:30pm, with responsibilities including room setup, vitals, specimen collection, blood draws, EHR documentation, and coordination with the care team;

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program.
• MA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with the clinical care team to deliver patient care.
• Take vital signs and collect specimens as applicable.
• Set up treatment rooms and prepare patients for exams.
• Document efficiently in the EHR and communicate results.
• Assist with injections, blood draws, and routine tests.
• Coordinate referrals and prior authorizations as needed.
