Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification/Registration or LPN required.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a confidential, safe, and patient-focused environment.
• Responds to patient emergencies in person and via phone.
• Applies clinical screening tools and obtains/upgrades patient information and vital signs.
• Orders labs, refills prescriptions, and coordinates referrals/testing per protocol.
• Reviews After Visit Summary (AVS) with patients and families.
• Provides patient education on care gaps and preventive health.
• Supports accessibility needs and room setup adjustments.
• Manages referral communication and coordination with specialty offices.
• Follows up on test results and ensures care team addresses abnormal or pending items.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for procedures and assist during procedures.
