Job summary

Corewell Health's Holland Primary Care in Michigan seeks a Medical Assistant for a part-time, on-site role supporting internal medicine, family medicine and pediatrics. You will work with a team to deliver compassionate patient care during every phone contact and in-clinic encounters. Shifts are days, 28 hours weekly (Mon/Wed/Fri) from 7:30 a.m.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands-on clinical skills OR 1 year direct MA/LPN/Paramedic/EMT experience.
• 1 year of healthcare or physician practice experience preferred.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.
• Certification CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA required within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical team with patient flow and basic clinical tasks.
• Assist providers in exams and patient positioning, and respond to patient needs.
