Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for TOSH - Orthopedics in Murray, Utah. This part-time position offers 28 hours per week with clinic hours Monday through Friday 8:00am–5:00pm; shifts Tuesday and Thursday 7:00am–4:00pm, and Friday 7:00am–5:00pm.

As a Medical Assistant, you will support clinicians, communicate with patients, and collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality care. Intermountain provides education assistance and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant program OR at least one year MA work experience OR current active RN/LPN license in Utah.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required before start date.
• Proficient computer skills and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians by gathering visit information and supporting patient care.
• Communicate with patients via phone and in person to coordinate care.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely patient care.
