Job summary

The Physicians' Group in North Oklahoma City is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support a hand/wrist/elbow surgeon. You will help with rooming, taking vitals, recording accurate notes in EHR, and processing referrals and prescriptions.

You may also brace and cast as ordered, answer triage calls, schedule, handle authorizations, and keep exam rooms clean and stocked. Orthopedic experience is preferred but not required; Epic EHR knowledge is a plus; strong front and back office

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Orthopedic experience preferred but not required.
• Worker's Compensation knowledge a plus.
• Epic EHR knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider with rooming, interviewing, taking vitals, and accurate documentation in EHR; process referrals and prescriptions.
• Brace and cast as ordered by physician.
• Support fast-paced clinic; be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both front and back office when needed.
• Non-clinical duties include triage calls, scheduling, authorizations; keep exam rooms cleaned/restocked and perform other duties as assigned.
