Job summary

Candidates should have CMA or MA certificate, BART/BLS, 2+ years of MA experience, and strong knowledge of medical terminology and online scheduling. Ability to work in a fast-paced team is essential.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or certificate of completion for Medical Assistant program.
• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to obtain within six months.
• Two+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and online scheduling.
• Ability to take initiative, prioritize demands, and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care duties under supervision in clinic and procedural areas.
• Manage environment, equipment, and supplies; assist with cleaning and disinfection.
• Float to other areas within the oncology service line with appropriate orientation.
