Job summary

Zollege is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant Instructor to join Jacksonville Medical Assistant School. You will mentor students in a real-world clinical setting, guiding hands-on learning and applying medical skills learned in the field.

Classes are primarily on Saturdays from 7:30am to 6:30pm, with potential weekday evenings depending on class availability. You’ll bring clinic-based experience to an 18-week, hands-on program that aims to place graduates in entry-level medical assistant

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience as a medical assistant.
• CMA, RMA, CCMA credentials.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Basic computer skills (emailing, printing, scanning, WiFi).
• Ability to commute to location(s).

Responsibilities

• Prepare for each class by reviewing curriculum and labs.
• Demonstrate medical skills and guide students in hands-on practice.
• Evaluate performance and adjust to meet learning needs.
• Enforce classroom safety and manage the learning space.
• Convey curriculum through lectures and demonstrations.
