Job summary

Zollege is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant Instructor to join the Toledo Medical Assistant School. You will mentor and teach students, combining medical expertise with hands-on training in a real clinical setting.

Instructors teach on Saturdays (7:00am - 6:15pm) with potential weekday evenings; the program runs 18 weeks and places students in doctor’s offices for practical experience. Strong communication and mentoring are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years as a medical assistant or related role.
• CMA/CCMA/RMA credentials required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to commute to locations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for each class by reviewing the curriculum and labs.
• Demonstrate medical skills and guide students during hands-on practice.
• Evaluate student performance and adjust as needed.
• Enforce classroom management and safety protocols.
• Convey curriculum effectively via lectures and demonstrations.
