Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is REQUIRED
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association is REQUIRED
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA/CCMA) certification or at least 6 months of clinical experience; preferred for non-certified applicants

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, performs select clinical functions to support patient care, including preparing patients for exams, obtaining specimens, basic lab tests, and recording results. May perform phlebotomy and administer selected medications/injections; also handles related clerical duties.
