Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) for Internal Medicine. You will support clinicians with vitals, patient prep, and exam assistance in a fast-paced clinic. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-family centered care and health education.

The schedule is part-time, 90% FTE, with day shifts Monday–Friday and no weekends; hours may vary by department needs. UW Health offers comprehensive benefits and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and ONE of the following required.
• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program or LPN licensure or completion of UWH MA Apprenticeship or Employee Partner program or CCMA certification as UWH employee.
• Acceptance into UWH MA Apprenticeship Program - Accelerated or CMA/RMA/CCMA certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinic procedures and exams.
• Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, and education.
