Closing Date: Position closes at 5:00 pm Mountain Standard Time on 11/14/25.

Position Summary: This is a Medical Assistant position responsible for providing professional and clinical services. This position is grant funded; continued employment is contingent on grant funding.

Grade / Pay: N10; $21.89/hour.

Education and Experience

• Must have and maintain certification as a Medical Assistant.
• Must have 3 years of experience in a medical office setting.
• Must maintain basic life support certification.
• Must provide current immunization records or obtain required immunizations at the Tribal Health Center prior to starting work.
• Must provide recent TB test results or be able to obtain a TB test at the Tribal Health Center prior to starting work.
• Must have computer experience in software programs including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License for the state of residency and be insurable under the Tribal vehicle insurance policy.
• Must pass a thorough criminal history background check, fingerprint check and pre‑employment drug test.

Preferred Qualifications

• General knowledge of Indian Self Determination P.L. 93‑638.
• Prior work experience with Native American Tribes.
