Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant, Occupational Medicine Navigator to support a busy outpatient setting in Westford, MA. The role will be 75% administrative and 25% clinical, with responsibilities spanning patient flow, room preparation, and basic clinical tasks.

The position requires a High school diploma, MA certification, BLS, and at least three years of MA experience. Strong EMR skills, bilingual abilities, and supervisory experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant National Certification Attestation issued by a governing body (AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification OR obtain within three months.
• Three years of Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Controls and monitors patient flow to maximize efficient use of providers and exam rooms.
• Prepares medical records for patient visits and confirms data with patients.
• Performs vital signs and assists with examinations and procedures as needed.
• Provides administrative support for clinical operations and billing documentation.
• May administer immunizations as needed.
