Job summary

Central Ozarks Medical Center (COMC) is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) to provide comprehensive patient care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting. The candidate must hold an MSN, be a Missouri-licensed RN, and be certified as CRNP, with strong emphasis on quality patient outcomes and ongoing professional development.

The role requires adherence to HIPAA and 340B regulations, dedication to teamwork, and the ability to educate patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN).
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Missouri and be currently registered as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.
• Ability to respond to inquiries from customers and regulatory agencies, and to present information to top management.
• Ability to work with accounting concepts.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient examinations, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and treatment of selected illnesses under protocols jointly adopted by nurse practitioner and physician.
• Provide health promotion information and teaching thereof.
• Make referral to other health professionals and agencies when indicated.
• Assist in the further education of health professionals rotating through the Center.
• Assist with the periodic revision of health maintenance protocols, illness protocols with other providers.
• Engage in COMC activities and attend COMC meetings as required.
• Participate in continued education activities for professional development and retention of licensure.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and/or experience

Physical Demands

Travel Requirement

To fulfill the responsibility of the position travel to all COMC locations may be required. Employee must have valid Missouri driver’s license and availability of a motor vehicle.
