Job summary

Chicago ENT - Advanced Center for Specialty Care is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support providers across multiple clinics. The role includes assisting physicians and nurses, maintaining patient flow, and performing basic clinical tasks in an ambulatory setting.

Travel to various practice locations is required. The position offers a schedule of Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with occasional Thursdays, a wage of $18–$22 per hour plus travel reimbursement, and a background check/drug

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program preferred.
• Minimum of two years clinical experience preferred.
• Previous surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians, mid-levels, and RNs with evaluation, management, and treatment in ambulatory care.
• Maintain patient flow and exam rooms; perform vital signs and point-of-care testing.
• Administer IM injections, immunizations, and OTC medications under physician direction.
• Cross-train across ENT, Sleep, Allergy, Cosmetic, CT, and Triage.
• Travel to multiple clinic locations as assigned.
• Lead schedules: up to 25 hours per week.
• Hours may be 7AM–7PM, up to 5 days/week.
• Must stand long periods; lift up to 30 pounds.

PART TIME MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Medical Assistants (MA) will partner with the providers of Chicago ENT to ensure prompt, accurate, and compassionate patient care. Chicago ENT is seeking experienced MA candidates interested in growing their skills in this unique and comprehensive ENT care setting. This role will report to the MA Lead and be required to travel to other clinics. This is a part-time role with a schedule of Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and some Thursdays as needed.

Occasional travel to Skokie, Lakeview, Halsted, and Peterson practices is required.

Primary Responsibilities

• The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting Physicians, Mid-Level Practitioners, and Registered Nurses with the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients in an ambulatory care setting.
• The Medical Assistant assumes responsibility for maintaining patient flow, the upkeep of exam and treatment rooms, and performing basic skills such as vital signs and point of care testing.
• The Medical Assistant will administer intramuscular injections, immunizations, and over-the-counter medications under the direction of a Physician.
• The Medical Assistant will be cross trained over time in all specialties and ancillary services including ENT, Sleep, Allergy, Cosmetic, CT, and Triage.
• The Medical Assistant must be available to work scheduled hours travel between all office locations where their assigned provider hosts clinic.
• The MA Lead will assign a weekly schedule not to exceed 25 hours
• The schedule may be between the hours of 7AM to 7PM
• The schedule may be 5 days including Monday to Friday
• The Medical Assistant must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up-to 30 pounds.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Preferred: Current Medical Assistant Certification by AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT

$18-22.00 + Travel Reimbursement
