The Houston Astros are seeking a part-time Medical Administrator to support the Player Care & Performance (PC&P) department at the West Palm Beach, FL complex. The role involves collaboration with MiLB and MLB medical staff, athletic trainers, and team physicians to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include scheduling medical appointments, coordinating travel for players, EMR management, and adherence to department handbooks.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Athletic Training or related field.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• NATA-BOC certification preferred but not required.
• Eligible for FL state licensure preferred but not required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfy driving eligibility requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with MiLB and MLB Operations staff on travel logistics for players.
• Schedule appropriate medical appointments.
• Transport and accompany players to and from medical appointments and other activities as needed.
• Assist with Pre-Participation Exams Coordination at Spring Training.
• Assist EMR management and Workers’ Compensation coordination.
• Maintain high level of communication with MLB/MiLB Medical Coordinators and other staff.
• Adhere to Astros Handbooks and department policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
