• Entrepreneurial, proactive, highly organized, and comfortable working independently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with senior leaders, media contacts, and external stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute a targeted media strategy surrounding a November 18 Congressional briefing and federal policy initiative.
• Identify compelling news angles and create effective pitches, messaging, press releases, talking points, and quotes.
• Proactively pitch national and top-tier media outlets to generate earned coverage and expand existing press relationships.
• Leverage existing media contacts and build relationships with reporters covering Congress, public policy, sustainability, water, and infrastructure.
• Coordinate media opportunities with briefing panelists and key stakeholders.
• Partner with senior leadership while independently managing media outreach, follow-up, and post-event coverage.
