Stellar Senior Living in Spokane, WA, is seeking a part-time Med Tech to support residents with daily living activities and medication administration. The role requires compassion, teamwork, and strong communication to uphold residents’ dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have a current HCA or NAC certification and maintain CEUs as required by the state.
• Must have a current Washington Food Worker Card and current certification in CPR and First Aid, or be willing to get certified within 30 days of hire.
• Prior experience in a senior living or care setting preferred.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment, as well as independently.
• A can-do attitude and a genuine compassion for working with the senior population.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications per the care plan requirements.
• Provide high-quality resident care and support with activities of daily living in accordance with each resident's service plan.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, bathing, and mobility in a kind and dignified manner.
• Answer resident calls promptly and determine how best to assist them.
• Ensure residents receive the appropriate diet by reviewing dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences.
• Observe and respond to changes in residents' physical condition, behavior, or needs and report them to the appropriate team member.
• Chart notes accurately and timely for each resident, documenting care provided and needs identified.
• Communicate effectively with residents experiencing communication barriers.
