Job summary

Vi Living in San Diego, CA is seeking a Medical Technician for a part-time shift (AM/PM). You will support medical staff and assist with clinical and technical aspects of care for residents.

Responsibilities include administering medications within scope, direct patient care, documentation, safety compliance, infection control, and collaboration with the healthcare team. Requires state CNA certification or completion of Med Tech training, CPR/AED and First Aid.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year geriatric care experience preferred; 6 months Med Tech experience preferred.
• Current CNA certification preferred; Med Tech training required or willingness to complete; CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Administers resident medications within Med Tech scope; verifies identity and records administration.
• Provides direct patient care (bathing, dressing, feeding) and assists in examinations and treatments.
• Maintains medical records, follows infection control policies, and collaborates with the healthcare team.
