Job summary

Hawthorne Center for Rehabilitation and Healing of Brandon is seeking a Part-Time Med Tech for the 2:00 PM–10:00 PM shift at our Brandon, FL assisted living facility. You will provide warm personal care, assist with daily living activities, and help manage residents' care plans under nursing supervision.

Requirements include being at least 18 years old, holding Florida Med Tech certification, and completing in-house training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Official State of Florida Med Tech Certificate.
• Successful completion of in-house training.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm and engaging personal care services, assistance, support, and companionship.
• Monitor changes in residents' day-to-day needs and update their Resident Care Plan accordingly.
• Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.
• Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.
• Aid residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, continence care, transportation, appointments, and dining.
